No, median means there are as many students with salary above 20 LPA as there are below 20 LPA. Please learn some stats before making these claims. Trilegal offers less than 20. Of the places that you mentioned, only those getting TCs and KCO will get a salary of more than 20LPA. Which means 11. That still leave 56-11 -10 (SAM) = 35 people getting 20 LPA or less. Hence median is not 20 LPA.

It's good that CLAT still has quants. Surely, someone needs to know what median is. For a start, please go through this example:

For median you need to arrange the salaries in the ascending or descending order and then the salary of the middle most person is the median salary. As there are even number of people placed, the median would be (28th + 29th)/2

This is a joke. As of now the effects of the increased batch size has not kicked in.

As of now 77 kids have sat for placements. NLS is planning to expand to 500 kids. As bad as jindal law school.

Let's see how placement goes after 5 years because of this massive batch size. NLS being an elite law school - that phase has gone. It's the jindal of NLU's.

Median salary is not 20 LPA. It is a shame that students or admin from NLSIU are resorting to such blatant lies for PR's sake. I dare you to reveal the salaries offered by the recruiters and prove the median. Such a great place like NLS doesn't need to resort to such cheap tactics to promote itself. Shame on you!

What this post also does is to debunk a long standing claim of NLS stans on this forum that most of their students are not interested in law firm jobs but consider themselves meant for 'greater things'. That's been an oft-parrotted lie. It would have debunked had they been transparent enough about their placement stats every year. They stopped doing so once other NLUs overtook them. This year, they are revealing it and it's clear that there is no difference between career outcomes of NLS grads and other NLU grads.

As it happens, I have my undergraduate law degree from an institution that is far ahead of NLSIU in every conceivable metric. However, I don't need to parade that to prove my superiority over others, unlike the NLSIU trolls who throng this place. I just pointed out that an opinion that has been making rounds here since long has now been disproved. Apparently you're insecure enough to go ad hominem based on that, which reveals more about yourself than about me, of course.
