Actually, they are. Moreover, some of them have also helped myself and other students become better legal professionals. And faculty research is what universities are known for in the world, not the marks scored by students.
As anyone in the know about legal education and law schools in India would be able to attest, no batch in any law school has got 50% students who don't want a top law firm job.
I am a current student and this figure is broadly correct. A large number of GNLU students do not opt for placements. 50% might be on the lower side, but this has been the case for years
Those faculty of yours aren't helping with placements are they? At the end of the day I need a job to sustain myself.
Whoever has contested this should name such illustrious faculty or else the mod should remove the contested tag.
On your face evidence of why NIRF rankings are FUCK ALL. GNLU>>>>>>>NLUD
That's a joke! It's an NLU where there is no respect for academics, research or legal education. That's why it doesn't have a single distinguished faculty in any domain.
May I die of a fatty heart before such a thing comes to pass, for the fulfilment of such a wild prediction will show that the world has gone mad.
Since you aren't a current student, how are you even qualified to say what happened in this year? As for the opportunities that you mentioned, it is a complete lie that out of a batch of 200 plus students, as many as 50% would opt for such careers.
Err all hail "gujju bhais supporting gujju bhais"
No. 160 people didnt apply. Stop spreading rumors. In my 5 years of time at GNLU, at most 110 people applied for jobs during a batch. There are plenty of people interested in other opportunities including IAS, LLM, MBA, Litigation, Businesss etc
exactly the point, without nalsar/nujs having announced the numbers, no nlu can straight up claim they have the highest. Putting out the number of ppos genuinely affects placement numbers on dayZ. Cant blame nujs/nalsar for being sensible xD
36/200 is not even 20%, please maintain the same metric you ask for NLUD/NLSIU etc.
Hence proven that the job opportunities are very much institution dependent.
We have got only anonymous claims to confirm that only 100 people applied. The total number will always be looked as a batch percentage for that reason.
GNLU is clearly overtaking NLSIU & NUJS in rankings.
You are just displaying your ignorance. NUJS started several years after NALSAR. As for GNLU, your wishful thinking won't change its prospects. Get some good faculty first and improve your research cred.
Everything works on Marketing these days, especially Gujarat model. They placed ~25% of their batch and are celebrating as if they did 100% recruitment
So why aren't students from TLCs getting those? Or private universities barring Jindal?
Not believable. The other 100 just know that they aren't going to get a job. Of course, even this 100 aren't all going to get placed in good jobs.
They also have over 35 DZ jobs today. Everyone who wanted a job in a T1 firm has been placed.
Acche don for GNLU. Even more achhe din hopefully when the NIRF rankings are out soon. 🀞
TC individual basis pae hai not depednent on college
because they are smart enough to not do it before day zero ends
Lovely lie and big claim. Could have just verified from other t1s before making that claim. NALSAR has around ~40 ppos which are obviously not publicised to avoid any day z prospects
Thoda jyada horaha hai guys. All hail? Pls stop your cringefest
Not verified yet plus no formal announcement of sorts
such a lie, NALSAR has 40 pre-day zero offers. Cannot be called highest lmao
wo training contract hai, harr saal hota hai, chill
Approx 200, from which maximum 100 are interested in Firm Job
