Equity is basically profit sharing, nothing else.
Kuch bolunga toh legally India ko ek aur apology deni padegi..
better to apologize than live in a tools' faradisc
From what I've heard, trilegal only has equity partners unlike other firms where you start as a salaried partner.
Equity in law firm means determining the ratio of profits by making an agreement in the LLP agreement.
Equity is informally referred to mean profit sharing ratio as per partnership Act.
Wanted to ask same question. Can someone please shed some light on this.
Getting equity also implies that you “pay-up”/contribute capital to the firm. New partners have to pay capital into the firm, and can be called upon to replenish capital in case the firm requires (however rare that may be).
