Hi everyone. I just wanted to check if there has been a slowdown in lateral hiring by firms? Anyone else getting that vibe? There used to be a time when you'd have to shoo recruiters away and now you can barely get chaps on the phone. Anyone else feeling this?

Firms don't recruit candidates at the fresher level other than ppo or campus recruitment. Lateral hiring requires atleast one yr PQE

I think given the huge team movements, the firms are forced to directly poach entire teams from competition and there would always be some spare capacity in teams when they move. So given the focus on getting entire teams, the lateral hiring of individuals would be bit slow.
