OR you're one of those kids who were obviously tested across the one lakh students in law schools across India to be ranked.
But, if lists like 30 associates to watch out for, rising associates etc. weren't ridiculous enough, there are now power rankings for law students in specific fields now? Like 30 students to look out for in Tech and TMT?
I'm sorry but I get that the kids don't know any better, but what kind of predatory behavior is this? You're setting up the students to fail because there's no way an associate or partner will take this person seriously. The listing is but obviously after paying some cash for being "eligible" for consideration.
Students - I understand that students want to set themselves apart and the field is crowded but believe it or not the only way to do that is to publish more, win more moots & debates, and stay at the top of your class. These empty rankings will only make you the laughing stock in your office or set up beef between you and other associates.
