How is Vivek Pareek as a partner? How is the quality and quantity of M&A and PE work? Does he operate regularly from the Mumbai office?
Aging like fine wine. Kya class boss! George Clooney level swag and style. That salt and pepper (more salt) is just oomph!
He’s married and has a kid. Have some shame.
Superb guy. Team primarily works from Bombay. No need to travel if you are working in Bangalore for him.
Excellent wlb. He will give you space and time.

Bonus is firm standard and I don’t think partners have a say in Saraf.
So how is bonus decided? Do you get what is promised in your letter? Isn’t it the partners job to decide how the associate has performed and reward
On what basis? Do you directly report to him or work with him OR is it on the basis of the feedback given by your partner to him? If it is the latter, then in effect is it not the partner (Vivek Pareek in this case) who decides what your bonus is?
Solid guy... does excellent work and easy to work for as well.
Don't join, his entire team left him last year. No training, unrealistic expectations, temper issues and what not.
I want to join Vivek Sirs team. How to apply? Directly or should I write to his secretary or HR?
Is he part of the team that does billion dollar transactions?
He does million dollar deals! Only one person does billion dollar deals
He does million dollar deals, senior partner (solo) does billion dollar deals and MP works on making the economy a 10 trillion dollar economy and works on deals at that level.
How many PAs and SAs in the team? Does he work directly with associates?
0 to the first question and yes to the 2nd part of the question. There are only associates.
Is his team hiring then? If not, which teams in their mumbai office are hiring?
Great partner. Great lawyer. The way he articulates his thoughts and presents the solution is worth learning. Leaves little room for doubt or ambiguity.
