Have worked previously in Delhi for 1.5 years, now in Mumbai since last 2 yrs. Making decent money not at par with law firm but enough to sustain and lead a decent life. However, since its been almost 4 years need/want some insight on future prospects
Have been working hard since day 1 and have learnt a lot even argued before HC's , Sessions , etc getting favourable orders. The prospect of litigation though exciting and respectable but doesn't seem practical considering my situation esp. in places like delhi bombay etc. I dont belong from either places; I feel apart from merit and hard work there is a lot of other factors which outweigh merit, in shaping up your counsel career.
Need help and advise on how to navigate further and what progressions shall i include/indulge in to have a better idea? Not fixated on being a senior adv / judge , merely want to expand my skill set and industry knowledge as being 27-28 still might have ability to switch/explore? or I'm just being paranoid and too scared to find out?
