My nephew recently gave CLAT and he took a drop year for this. Things have not gone well for him and he is not getting any decent NLU. He is asking for a second drop and his mother (my sister) and me are very concerned about this decision. His argument is people even take second or third drops in hopes of getting a tier 1 NLU.
Guys, is the condition in newly established or less popular NLU this bad? Even after so many years? Has the current legal market developed some positive outlook about drop years?
Kids from NLU and recently graduated students are requested to share their opinion. Thanks.
During a drop year, especially for young people, the mind wastes away if you are not doing anything interesting. I have seen people become addicted to social media and other things, and struggle even when they have to go back to college.
As for the T3 NLUs like NLUJAA or HPNLU, I am sorry to say, but fuck no. Local Mumbai law colleges/GLC/ILS/JGLS/Symbi/NIRMA/NMIMS are okay. Even IP I've heard is decent.
