There are only two castes in India: rich and poor. We need to uplift the poor by boosting economic growth. That should be our only focus.
On a bare reading, this provision would apply to law firms (including offices of foreign law firms), private universities like Jindal and think tanks and NGOs like Vidhi. But perhaps not very small law firms, NGOs or chambers of advocates, as they will have less than 20 people. But one grey area is whether staff like peons, drivers etc are included in the figure of 20, or whether it applies only to managerial staff.
Anyway, let’s wait for the bill to be published and for discussions on the bill to take place. As it is a private bill, there is no party whip and both NDA and INDIA MPs can vote for or against it, as well as non-aligned parties like the BJD and YSRCP.
