HOWEVER, if you know in your gut that it is not and wont be since sls is fairly hectic in its schedule etc. then focus more on externals, I am telling you from experience your GPA matters, and the first year is crucial for a precedent that you will set for your self for your upcoming semesters. Decent GPA = Increased confidence and subsequent consistency. Sls is pretty messed up in their grading and so if you get a low GPA and spend the rest of the semesters covering for it or trying to figure why you cant go above a certain threshold, you will be suffocated.
Another factor is of course affordability, SLS is not cheap and so if affordability is a genuine issue for you then consider giving CLAT priority.
