What is the way forward?
1. to accept that your work was not valued much, or you were just passable/easily replaceable. Why so after 2 years? Need to introspect
2. Find another job, and next time instead of insulting the employer kindly think how you can be more valuable
In this market there are a lot of passable lawyers, very few who solve problems, retain clients, gets more done and reduces headache of their employers
If you are not good you will be discarded, that is how the legal profession is
I am way harsher on myself than you can imagine.
I was offered 5x of the increased remuneration as bonus after one year (due in September).
Burnt my hand and learnt an expensive lesson.
