One has a dictator at helm, Second is forging NIRF data, Third doesn't have BCI approval, Forth is run by politically affiliated goons, Fifth has had bullying, SA & infrastructure infestation, Sixth has armed guards on campus, Seventh barely had any facilities...
Very interestingly, when a "star" Chair Prof at NUJS organised a PIB exit campaign (that scalped the then retired Justice Ashok Ganguly), the BCI sent an inspection team, which had the "venerable" NL Mitra (ex-VC of NLSIU and NLUJ) leading the committee. Mitra and Co overlooked the lack of BCI affiliation as also other stuff.
Last time when NALSAR admin got shredded by a review committee led by retd HC judges, it was the state bar council that whitewashed the admin (ofc VS had to go). Brilliantly covered by Kian then. That state bar council honcho later became a judge and even a CJ of HC.
NALSAR needn't worry about lack of BCI affiliation. Just pay the "fine" and everything will be fine.
