The setting is, I had gone back to my college for some reunion / function type thing. There i met quite a few people we caught up, nostalgia hit, happy to see familiar faces again after almost a decade after graduation.
There was a girl I had a crush on back then whom I was lattu about, then there was a girl who liked me from back then. We all suppressed our urges and just said "Hi! Nice to meet you!".
But the cherry on top of this event was the segment known as - Adopt a Law Firm. This event - Adopt a Law Firm is taking place inside a large hall. There's a lot chairs and tables. Its like a speed dating set up.
Law firm owners sit infront of a panel of 3 college kids and one professor.
The law firm owners are sad looking dejected, as if they're sitting before a bank manager asking for a restructuring or forgiveness of the loan. The kids look hungry and the professors look attentively at the grilling.
If successful, the law firm owner's law firm will get adopted and get an infusion of funds and the kids will join the firm. How the tables turn. That's all the dream was.
