Only meritocracy amongst big law firms
It has its flaws, but it has managed to keep its senior partner flock together
Even a small competitive advantage when consistently compounded over the years can have huge effect like this
When I used to work there they had just 140 lawyers across 3 main offices. Quite some growth here.
it helps that all the other big law firms are antiquated, centralised and super scared of losing business to partners who leave, while trilegal has perfected its partnership model over the years
JSA could be competition but its run by a committee and everyone is risk averse
