Specifically, I am asking about the interview shortlisting criteria of firms and not subsequent hiring during interview. I would appreciate it if the criteria for Tier 1 firms (individually) are stated.
Also, I have heard that for the batch of 2024, there was a considerable difference in the shortlisting criteria. For the batch of 2023 and before, rank was not very important, but now it is. Is this true? Or is it because for 2024 firms were on a freeze, so they considered only top rankers?
All firms, all of them only shortlist the avaliable top rankers. Maybe aim for tier 2 firms. The market isn't hiring positive for your batch now.
