We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

In terms of my future, I belong to the reserved category, so I will take a shot at multiple options: UPSC, judicial services, other government jobs, IIM CAT etc. Also considering GMAT and an MBA abroad, or an LLM abroad. The government gives scholarships to people from my community who study abroad, so I will apply for that. If I have to pay by myself, the US is beyond my family’s budget, but the UK, EU, Canada, Australia and Singapore are within our budget, so I will try for these countries.
I have two dreams: join IAS/IPS/IFS or do an MBA from a top institute and work for a gaming company in Silicon Valley.
My preference list is:
IAS/IPS/IFS
IIIM A/B/C
Other UPSC service
MBA abroad
LLM abroad
Judicial service
State civil service
Other government job (PSU, academia etc).
I am hopeful my top options will work out, because this time I WILL study hard! 🤞🙇
