If you are looking at law firm jobs in England (which is possible to get, even if you have been educated in India) at the orthodox Magic Circle law firms in particular, it might matter, since they ask on their application forms for disclosure of 10th and 12th marks.
the hiring practices are changing and now A level (class 12 equivalent) results need not be disclosed. Some firms have even stopped asking which uni a particular student is going to, although there are ways by which oxbridge crowd drop hints in the application.
True, but this isn't happening at all firms, and despite the DEI trend, it seems like these changes aren't in place in the majority of firms one might consider in the UK.
