My advice would be to look for something on the blue line that is not more than 6-7 stations away from supreme court - gives you multiple options in west and east Delhi side. avoid paharganj at all costs.

laxmi nagar has the most amount of pgs and it is only 10 mins away from sc metro station. you can easily find good ac rooms double sharing in range of 6-10k with or without food + ac bill

Supreme Court area has no residential buildings in close proximity. You may find PG's in CP, Rajiv Chowk, or west Delhi would do like Janakpuri since you would have access to direct metro and is not that far.
