We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

1. No, I got them, but only through contacts2. Very few. In my entire batch, I don't think anyone got a tier 1 placement.
3. For the same band and firm, I don't think so but you don't get the same placement as a 5 year graduate to begin with
4. I think you meant "discrimination"? And no, not really, but recruiters do. GLC is still better I've heard ILS doesn't even allow in-house roles to go to3 year graduates.
My advice: if you're doing the 3 year course you're already at a disadvantage so you might as well just do it from an NLU so that you at least have the NLU tag. Try NLSIU, if you're smart enough to get the rank for it. Avoid SLS, ILS and other colleges that have mandatory attendance because placement cells aren't going to help you and you'll have to find a job on your own.
Same across IITs where Btech Students look down on Mtech Students.
Majority of 5 year LLB Students have God complex.
so, GLC is not worth it for someone who want to work with firms ?
I am ASO CSS
Should he too enrol in 5 year course as treating badly will crush my self esteem.
3 year LLB are treated like second class citizens. This academic year they have not been allotted hostel rooms yet and are figuring out things on their own, and mind you NLUO is situated outside the city with not much residential options around.
1. I haven't seen anyone from there doing a good internship, maybe because they were in their first year of LLB.
2. None yet as programme started last year.
3.
4. Answered above + people are in general hostile towards them, and they should be. Most of these people are from Tier 3 colleges or DU, and they are trying to bring their culture with them of abusing people and picking up random fights. They are stuck with their Tier-3 mentality.
1. Are you guys getting good internships at tier 1 firms ?
2. How many of you are getting placements at tier1 or 2 firms ?
3. Is there any difference among the pay scale of 5 and 3 yr law graduates ?
4. Does your college or colleagues do any differentiation ?
