Basic economics will prove this correct. If we take the student quality of NLS, Nalsar and NUJS to be equal then the proportion of students getting placed from each college should be the same. A firm will not have an incentive to go for a 2nd last-ranked kid in NUJS over a 5th last-ranked kid in NLS and vice-versa. On top of this, the alumni network of NLS is also the strongest!
Another big problem with NLS is that we cant intern as much as other NLUs like NUJS, GNLU. We have only 4 internship breaks max. Sure it is easier for us to get a PPO (because bias) but if you screw up one assessment internship, you have to rely on Day Z. So a lot of ppl depend on Day Z.
The RCC has done great so far. We only hope most of us get placed somewhere T.T
NLS really takes advantage of their name man. Should have studied for CLAT lmaooo
Radio silence from other NLUs about this, when they try and co pare themselves with NLSIU.
Back in the day NLS used to enjoy Day Zeros. Many students used to end up with multiple offers some even got offers from English Solicitors firms, Mckinsey etc.
That's going to be over with JGLS like Batch sizes which Sudheer made.
Like IN JGLS you will still have placements. But maybe 60/500 will get any decent offers.
Coming from a college like GNLU, this number seems to be pretty huge
