Arjun Ghose - Trilegal, avoid all other partners at Trilegal

Winnie shekhar - IndusLaw
I haven an interview lined up for Corp & M&A at Tri, please help me with the interview questions
Seconding this - wonderful lawyer and person! Hearing very good things about the team he has built in Bangalore.
Really nice person who looks out for his team and others. No ego and he's very easy and friendly to work with. Building the SAM blr team really well.
I work in SAM’s Bangalore office - his promotions are slower and the pay doesn’t match other tier 1s. But from what I see, his team is very united and there is no toxicity. Rarely any attrition which makes it a good long term option. A few of his lawyers are also pretty good.
Rarely any attrition? 6/13 (non partner) members have left the team in just this calendar year already. Guess that’s what happens when you cut corners on incentivising the people who work for you.
Kosturi Ghosh - amazing and very diverse matters.
Isn’t that good though? That you are not doing the same monotonous transactional work everyday? Also, she is the head of Tri Blr office and is a very high revenue generating team. Wouldn’t that mean better pay too?
Everyone is paid the same at Trilegal, don’t let anyone fool you with promises of differential pay (which is very exceptional and even then its like low or mid single digit % difference).
At fresher level, yes. But the bonus component changes team wise across all levels after A0
Toh fir good transactions partners wale thread pe kyun apne PR peetne aayi hai behen?? Karo no aur email sajane ka aur usme typo dhoondhne ka kaam??
Intense hours intense work intense people. If you can match that intensity it’s worth a shot for the learning and pay!
I am surprised with the negative reactions on this! He is quite good. Have worked opposite him on couple of matters
It will be prudent to find out why he left Tri and set up his own firm
Indus has prime PE&VC practice in blore. Look for partners there!
Kosturi Ghosh is the biggest PE/VC lawyer in Bangalore. What are you even saying?
Do you even know what PE/VC is? She does more late stage M&A work. Even in that her mandates are drying up, its a dying team but shes doesnt care because she comes from old money PLUS she’s high up the food chain at Tri, from being in the right place at the right time.
Sounds like other teams’ mandates are drying up and have all the time in the world to talk rubbish about the Bangalore office head. Don’t worry, your partner will make their share because Kos brings in the biggest pie in Tri BLR so they’ll be safe, you maybe not.
Dingunath Jones, CAM. His clients really set him apart from the other PE/VC lawyers in Bangalore.
As someone who worked under Dingunath for a few years (quit for entirely different reasons), I have to say his team is the only team that fosters a good work-life balance and inclusivity at CAM, BLR.
hey, im an incoming A0 at cam, next month. ive been assigned the b&f team but i want to make the switch to dingu sir’s team for m&a/gc. anyway i can get in touch w you regarding the formalities and how exactly i should switch??

thanks <33
