The Gandhinagar metro work has dug up most of the soil in front of the campus making it a low lying area and prone to water flooding which wasn't a problem previously. The millipedes are probably from there.
That said, I fully understand your frustration and envy. It is just coming out on this platform.

The best of state NLUs are behind them. Valiant attempts by respective students and alumni to create an upbeat narrative are fake (like some random laughable "Roads" scholarship) and cannot hide the internal rut anymore.
