How come private unis are doing better? The secret is that tier-1 nlus are more attracted towards LLM abroad. Harvard >>> everything else.
T1 NLU students do not accept the offers from Argus. They threw a couple of offers to NLS students on Day Z, both of which got rejected.

Now some people will come and claim that DNLU, DSNLU>>>NLS
They are when it comes to getting jobs. Those NLS kids who are yet to land a job now wish they had got Argus' offer.
Bhaiya I have got rank 90 in CLAT, I want to do Corp, should I opt for DNLU or NLS?
Any particular reason as to why they reject the offers? They seem to pay well and have heard less bs about that, compared to other T1s.
But why would they not join Argus, given the excellent pay here?
The pay was 16 LPA, all other T1 firms pay in the same range so if someone has offer from another firm then they choose the other firm because of brand value.
Less than ten people from any NLU batch go for a foreign LLM right after graduation. Hence your assumption is far off the mark.
18L for 2025? Is Argus the 3/4th highest paymaster across the country? Trilegal, S&R, ICUL Funds (as per comments here), and Lexygen? Everyone else lags behind. What a way to set the bar, more talent incoming certainly towards Argus.
Argus is 16LPA for batch of 2024, Khaitan is 15.6 + Bonus (1.5?).
Khaitan can increase it too and 2023 grads recieved 17.1 LPA so the chances are that 2024 and 2025 grads will also get the same. With Argus, you cannot be sure about the variable pay, Khaitan, it's pretty much confirmed
