Lets start with A0s of Trilegal KCO and SAM where such laptops are provided. What are the specs of the latest machines provided this year? Others also free to add their firm models.
KCO uses to give HP probooks. They're experimenting with Dynabook and Lenovo for now before finalising a new supplier.
That's weird? Dynabook is Tosiba no? They're not even that great a name in the market. 2024 people are getting dynabook?
Yes, it's Toshiba. And no they aren't a great name, but that laptop is good. Anyway they are experimenting with couple of brands before finalising.
Is not this the most irrelevant question when it comes to having a career in corporate law ?
No it's not. Lawyers who like to know their tech are as relevant as any
Nope. A good laptop can massively improve your productivity. When you have 40 tabs open, and switching between different documents, a slow laptop will absolutely destroy your patience.
You’ll end up using Citrix anyway, how does it matter
Try using Citrix in a high end vs Low end laptop. The difference will be very evident
SAM gives out some HP laptop. Probably one of their high end ones.
yep this is definitely an upgrade on what I was using, a pretty good laptop!
AZB does not give laptops. Asks you to bring your own device and Citrix on it.
