But this news pales in comparison to the rumoured move of one of the best M&A partners (+ 3 partners who work with him) out of CAM since Ashwath’s departure to neighbours AZB. SJV going further down the road to join KCo may not make sense unless he’s got a leadership position, which he must have yearned for at CAM, but didn’t get even post the recent equity partner rejig.
Hope the message to the firm is loud and clear - reward your top performers, loosen the purse strings or risk losing even more of the talent that continues to remain with the firm. Interesting times ahead.
Is CAM discarding it's own HR procedures now? If cap marks associates can be informed prior to the HR season timelines, surely everyone else in the firm can also be informed about their revised pay? This is without going into the question of whether cap marks associates will not have to wait for arrears and revised pay timelines.
This would be a mega move no?
Any idea if this is confirmed/ when is it to be announced?
