Lol NLS 4 placements, which is less than TNNLU and NLUO and half of SLS. Damn how the tables have turned, well done Trilegal for choosing Merit. But shame for the Jindal contact magnet
NLS isn't even the top NLU in South India right now...it is NALSAR at #1, then NUALS at #2 with NLS at #3.
bro NUALS ko upar bol diya ye thoda zyada ho gaya ab
Eh look honestly I don’t care but isn’t 4 from NLS very low a number?
Now jilted NLS canvassers will say it is because NLS students are now getting offers to take CEO positions in fortune 500 companies across the globe immediately after graduation. We all know how true that is.
hahaa man NLS ones are also sitting in HSF..stay deluded
So are students from other NLUs, man. NLS has stopped being special long ago.
Not until Sudhir gets you to get another Rhodes. He won't stop.
People who apply to the college should come with this realistic expectation that the college is not a placement agency. Then things will fall into place and only students who are serious about their academics will be here.
16/900 Jindal students hired by trilegal. Only 90/900 at max get T1 and T2 corp jobs here.
This also because other firms hired very less. Max 50 got proper tier 1 jobs
Not this sour grapes excuse again! Had what you claimed been true, then NLSIU students would not have been interning in those very firms throughout the year, nor sat for Day Zero. But they do so, and apparently, miss out, just as other mere mortals.
Then use the percentage of JGLS students who intern and apply for recruitment. Even there, it will be way behind the top 5-6 NLUs.
Agreed. Still hard to judge but yes, I’d keep JGLS around 5-6 only.
What all falls in "other law schools". Breakdown would have been if not in the table then in the article atleast. Imagine the plight of those 15/16 others now πŸ˜‚ joined on merit only to be casted out like this
And paid 19.5 while feeting a fees on probably some thousands while you joke around during class hours paying lakhs.
OP you should have given this health warning:

β€œViewing these numbers may cause a rise in blood pressure, accompanied by severe burns, among NLU supremacists who spend their whole day trolling JGLS on LI and social media.”
Yeah 16/900 students from JGLS got placed in Trilegal. (I'm sure half of them were through contacts as well)
Have y'all maybe considered that not every student in nls wants a corporate job?
Have you maybe considered that not every student who wants a corporate job ends up getting one?
Don't you think the same would apply to JGLS as well?
Just Jindal kicking ass and overtaking NLUsβ€¦πŸ’…
you all have close to 1k kids per batch. Shut up.
NLS didn't lose out. Around 8 were given offers in Day 0. 5 of them rejected it.
Just one question: the article says they are paid 19.5 lakhs per annum. Is this the exact sum that law firms give to freshers, or do they deduct stuff in taxes and perks? In other words, is this a CTC salary?
Other firms. Basically it was a location issue. Other firms mentioned location and practice area in some cases while giving the offer, TRI didn't. They just said we will try to honour your preference.
Sure buddy, you can make up stories all you want and get upvotes. The reality is trilegal isn't as elitist as say a CAM.
Cam isn't elitist lmao, throw a stone in cams office in any direction and you'll hit a glc grad or student.
the batch size has increased for the junior batches, the graduating batches are still very small.
Is it? What is the total size of this batch? Because Sudhir increased the batch size within a year of taking over.
The batch of 2024 had 80 students. Trilegal threw 8 offers on Day Z, 5 of them got rejected and students went for other firms because Trilegal did not mention the location while other firms like CAM provided them with their preferred location.
How many people landed a T1 or equivalent job altogether?
The point is, isn't NLS supposed to deliver a better performance with supposedly better VC, better faculty, better alum connect and better rep? If it's doing the same as NUJS, then what's the point?
Are you claiming before Sudhir got the new faculty, all NLS faculty used to be bad? Then who taught Sudhir? Remember that those very faculty helped NLS reach its heights, the new ones are yet to make any difference that is visible to others.
This year is a lot better for placements pal what are you smokin? 2023 ka bahana 2024 mei nahi chalega
I said that the placements for the batch of 2024 was really bad. Do you have a different perspective? As far as I know, the placements for the batch of 2024 were one of the worst in all law schools.
Then your knowledge is only limited to your own university.
35 students didn't get T1 jobs from NLSIU in this year. That's an exaggeration. The real number is 27.
Nujs batch had only 110 people and around 40 ppos and dayz also easily 30-40 offers so nujs got 70-80 people placed. There are atleast 4-5 people who are going for abroad and some for litigation and stuff.
There are entire dead weight partners (son,daughter,husband/wife of X/Y/Z) and brother has not seen dead weight associates but brother is in Tier 1 for 10 years.

🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣
NLS is increasing batch size to Jindal levels. Sudihir took an elite college to trash.
it is scary to think what might happen to NLS 5 years later, when they have 5 times their outgoing batch strength. Good luck to kids who still fill it as their first preference.
Christ Bangalore got the same number of recruits like NLS
Loving the meltdown among Jindal-hating NLU kids. 😎🍿. Those from lower-ranked NLUs must be particularly livid.

Guys, spread love, not hate. β€οΈπŸ•ŠοΈ 😊
If you say that Jindal kids are blowing away daddy's money to get something others are getting a better version of at less than half the cost.
That's okay. All those judges and civil services people also acknowledge that NLUs are better than their own alma.
That's true. Outside of the Legal frat, no one knows NLUs and in the wider scheme of things they're just corporate slave feeders. Also, they're just a state university. Bahahaha.
I'd prefer a central university over a state anyday. TLCs rock !!!
Since when did hiring numbers of Trilegal become a yardstick to determine a law school's competence? Interpreted another way, if Trilegal chooses to hire 16 from JGLS and 4 from NLS, it could also mean that Trilegal's standards have dropped
Of course. If someone doesn't consider NLS grads to be good enough, that must mean that someone is at fault. Arrogance like this is what is responsible for NLS' current decline.
my partner told me when i put in my papers that he know prefers hiring kids with loans so that they stick

Whereas NLS is not being able to bring law firms over even after paying them?
Trolling and fake: Jindal never pays law firms . Please remove the comment entirely. Malicious fake news by a jealous students whose law school perhaps isn’t even in the top 10.
