We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

I'm keen to understand what skills are typically expected in an IP internship. I'm also wondering about the best ways to develop these skills. Any readings, resources that would be great for someone willing to learn and just starting out to intern and get some practical experience in IP? Would be grateful for any help.
For internships, look towards small boutique firms
Go to DHC website, choose by judge name. Since the IP has just changed, search for the last two judges - Sanjeev Narula and Anish Dayal. Go through the kind of decisions that they have given in past 6 months. It'll help you formulate the kind of advice you'd give to clients relating to contentious trademark issues.
