Wonder why the "RTI activist" and now TMC MP Gokhale is so inactive and silent when it comes to SIC of WB, which statistically is slated to take 42 years to dispose off the appeals. Everyone knows that SIC in WB is a joke (many other states too) and is packed with acolytes of Madam Kindness.
Because filing RTI is such a hassle in this state and the road thereafter becomes even more Kafkaesque, most folks simply stay away. Forget state govt depts, just try NUJS.
