Pathetic teacher quality in NLUO.
In the last 2-3 years, placement numbers have been good because the students are hardworking, but this is not sustainable unless the administration is willing to implement reforms in examination processes and improve the quality of teachers.
I would not have chosen nluo if I had known that it was this humid.
One very big caveat is that we've introduced a 3 year LLB, and there's very little quality control. So we are getting typical local students. What this does is, that it essentially dilutes the quality of LLB students, as unlike 3 year BA students, the value of a BALLB and LLB ends up becoming same. That is my only concern.
Other than that it is a decent place to be. Mess Food is really good (ngl I'll miss it), you'll see a lot of posts/replies about strict admin, blah, blah, fact is they accommodate students to best possible extent. In my 5 years, we never had a attendance debar, there were scares. Project extension, etc is also given, generally admin is very considerate. At times they can be tough, but I guess that'll be everywhere.
Location wise also decent if you enjoy calmness of nature and all, you'll be in for a treat, with rivers and all. Basic facilities are available, imo.
