We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

All the best to all new A0s/ in houses/ other freshers. You'll cry, you'll struggle, you'll earn, you'll learn, you'll meet nice ones, not so nice ones but you'll always have one thing within - YOU. (I'm sorry for my aggresive approach in the first few lines but I got agitated at the response above, sorry in hindsight for the tone too).
If you are not rich, then move to another city. Delhi is much better.

If you have a gig at Parel like a few T1's, then try staying in Grant and Charni if you do not mind a 20-25 minute commute or stay in Bandra if you want to have similar commute but a luxurious spot.
Facebook brokers are quite fixed but use nobroker and use flatmate groups on facebook u could probably find a single sharing room easy enough without any brokerage . Hope this helps and welcome to Mumbai :)
And please get on no-broker and other apps and you will find better options and you cannot negotiate much with broker. No-broker is good as you can communicate with owner directly. A good broker will help you get a good deal at a good price but there is not much scope beyond a set limit
Will staying in a 1 BHK be sad?
How negotiable are the quotes made by brokers on facebook?
