2) very small minority? because all black people have to think like dems? its a big big country. Black americans dont by and large have a problem with high skilled indian workers. They have a problem with mexicans from south of the border who would actually take the jobs these guys do. I havent met too many of these people, but i can read surveys, I can watch interviews, I can read research and reports put out by Batya Ungar Sargon and Nellie Bowles and a number of other people. Most of these reporters. arent conservatives. Theyre liberals or leftists.
3) I dont think racists are good people. I just think youre using an awfully big brush to paint all working class americans as racists and that is not a view point that imagines people complexly. I think there are racists in america- I dont think all the racists are white. I think race based prejudice is an awful thing- but your fear of poor people strikes me as gross coastal elitism.
4) sure. uneducated illegal immigrants might be running from all sorts of problems. That doesnt invalidate the economic impact of that immigration. Do you think its a sustainable solution for the United States to keep importing these people? or do you think trying to defeat the cartels and bolstering rule of law in those other countries through foreign policy interventions would be better? Do you think people are immoral for caring about the poor working class people who are losing their living because of the import of a slave caste?
These issues are clearly more complex than a simple- dems good trump bad narrative. So why are you so keen to push that propaganda? Why demand everyone else turn of their brain and go along? why express so much outrage and shock that people might disagree with you?
2. Regarding the question of black Americans who want more strict laws on immigration, there are a very small minority who feel envy towards socially mobile Indians. Perhaps, some of them feel that Indians had an advantage in a system stacked against them. Also, how many "working class black Americans" have you spoken to who want more strict immigration laws?
3. Perhaps you're just more willing than I am to see the good in people who clearly don't like folks with a skin tone like ours. Am I saying all of working class America is like that? Hell no! The vast majority of working class America (white, Black, Latino...) is made up of a bunch of pretty nice people. But there are bad apples among them, who are causing problems disproportionate in scale to their numbers/percentage.
4. In response to your other questions, could it be that those "uneducated illegal immigrants" you speak of might just be people who are running away from danger in their own countries? From gangs like MS13, who receive arms illegally, thanks to the insane system that allows arms manufacturers and the N.R.A. to have such a crazy amount of influence on U.S. gun laws?
Believe you why? youve gone and spoken to a lot of working class americans? have you spoken to ten? How do you make sense of the fact that black working class americans want stricter laws on immigration? Is it all about race? or could it be that uneducated illegal immigrants are allowed into the country by parties controlled by billionaires who want to import a slave caste that wont unionise, wont receive social security, and they want to do that instead of paying working class americans, black, white, hispanic, whatever,a higher minimum wage and health care and social security? Could it be about class?
for most working class people- they like asian/indian doctors and scientists and techies and they want to keep highly skilled people because those guys contribute to the economy and pay taxes. they figure- as long as these people are getting educated in our best institutions- why shouldnt they stay and contribute to our economy.
I dont know man- if I were a working class american, id probably believe the same things.
Why imagine people who disagree with you are racist without evidence? it could be that theyre making rational decisions for themselves.
However, everything else is absolutely wrong. The likes of her have brought the UK system of public services - the health service, welfare benefits etc. - to its knees, and she is as guilty of demonising immigrants as Farrage. If you live in India, please either educate yourself or check your privilege. It is partly because of her that the Conservative Party has lost all credibility and is likely to experience a landslide defeat. And if you're wondering, she attempted to sabotage Liz Truss (for her own gain) by saying that Indians were the largest number of visa overstayers in this country at a key point in the UK - India trade talks back in September 2022. Please don't express uninformed opinions.
