NLS: Has geysers in all hostels.
NALSAR: I am sure has better amenities and it would not be possible for you to come from a posh area to NALSAR every day.
NUJS: A 3bhk flat won't cost 45k in Kolkata.
Are you talking about NLUD?
Hostel life is a humbling and a learning experience.
The primary reason for this decision is the double-sharing rooms with common washrooms. Each room is barely 10 by 15 feet, and approximately 60 students share just six toilets, with no geysers available.
Instead, I found a nice 3 BHK apartment for around 45k in a posh area of the city. Although the apartment is a bit far from campus, I have already booked a car, so travel shouldn’t be an issue.
My question is whether living off-campus will affect my academics and social relations.
