My mother is a bit apprehensive since someone told her to avoid marrying me off to a lawyer or law enforcement official (policewoman) if taking the arranged marriage route.
What is it like being a lawyer married to a non lawyer really? And how hyped is the danger of being screwed over by spouse should there be any marital discord? Is the kind of title I stated a very high stress job? She's 25 and been working ~ 3 years. Does her job entails any kind of threat to her life?
I was contacted myself by another girl who is a .. criminal lawyer herself. We only texted one night and then she's not texted back.

1. She is in-house lawyer who does contract vetting. I.e. she is not "problematic" kind, the law firm ones (like me) who turn out to be ego maniacs / living in their own bubble/ones that are discussed frequently on this website.
2. With #1 out of the way, meet her and see if she is a good person, go for 6-12 months of courtship period (pre/post engagement, whatever you are comfy with).
3. The part that seemed problematic was her parents pestering yours about her. Seemed like there is an issue there. Could be anything - she being in a relationship elsewhere, she not being able to find a match due to looks/ background.
