1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.

Recently there was a protest regarding some issues with the administration and so called "anti-student" attitude of a few faculties. The new VC is holding the VCship for the first time and his lack of experience is well demonstrated in the decisions he takes and the overall problems that the students are facing.
The placements are more or less left to the students themselves. The NLU tag kind of helps you score decent internships, but to convert them to PPOs it is you who needs to work. Hence, its safe to assume that you should not join the university if placements are your first priority.
There are a handful of very good faculties who teach their subjects extremely well. However, the administration has this weird idea of assigning different subjects to these faculties in which they have little to no experience. So, faculties are decent but you shall need to slog hard if you want to do well inside and outside the university.
Extra curricular activities are more or less dead. However, occasionally the centres organise a few competitions here and there.
If you don't have any other possible options above DSNLU, feel free to opt for the university.
