GNLU has definitely surpassed NLIU. However, it is subjective whether it has surpassed NLUJ. I’d say- yes it has, but some others might not agree with this

Kid gnlu got the best rank in UPSC and also achieved Rhodes too. Plus don’t even bring moots up, Nluj can’t even get near to nliu in terms of that let alone Gandhinagar.

Not really. I can name a few in NLSIU, NALSAR, NLUD and NUJS easily. With Harpreet, now at NLUJ too. Not a single such person from GNLU.

Bhai Harpreet has recently joined Nluj. And itna kam time mein a college doesn’t flourish that much jfyi. Moving past that, you should realise that GNLU has been having a stable administration with illustrious alumni for a while now.

Harpreet is already recruiting good faculty at NLUJ, something which the stable GNLU administration has failed to do in years. The point was about faculty and not alum. I've got nothing against the alum, be they from NLUJ or GNLU.

Name any NLU from NLSIU, NALSAR, NLUD, NUJS and I'll name you such faculty. Then you can do that for GNLU, because I didn't find comparable faculty from there who have got top publications, recognition in the field, or industry experience of note.
