U for UP
Students are misguided to end up going to BVP Pune.
Noida, Greater Noida have half a dozen better colleges than BVP, even Galgotia, Sharda, Bennett, Lloyd, Amity are all better than BVP.
Except symbiosis and ILS Pune, no college worth anything in that city.
Who are you to ask this question? People like you divide the society. It's one India. Patna and Pune are not different.
It was because some coaching institute had told them that this college is good among low tier NLUs. So, many times, these coaching institutes have recommendations of their own. Similar is the case with some of the engineering colleges in TN.
Each and every state in India has its own stereotypes; I do not understand why Biharis and Jharkhandis get targeted so much. The main reason why Bihar and Jharkhand have not developed like other states is because of the bad government there at the time of Lalu. And pursuant to that, while Nitish has tried his best to make things better, there are some things which need immense effort to change there. A good leadership is very important for any state to do better.
The only reason there are less employment opportunities there is because lack of effort by the governement, increase in red-tapism and zero change in mentality of people (which again goes back to how the government influences the state). The only reason people from Bihar, Jharkhand (and also UP) go to states like Maharashtra and Kerala for activities such as construction, and other sorts of labour is because their state does not have enough employment opportunities for them to sustain their livelihood and fill the stomachs of their families.
People from both the states are extremely hard-working and smart. If their own state gives them the opportunity, they will flourish, and mind you, they will flourish way better than people like you who harbour such a poor mentality and perpetrate such discriminatory beliefs on LegallyIndia and in general. Be a better human being and stop having such biases in your head.
US colleges have just become another dump for rich Indian students who have no brains of their own. They treat you like shit, give you visa problems, still you die to go abroad for some reason.
Graduation days in these US colleges look so fucking weird - Indian parents being fucking weird with their weird fucking dumb Indian kid getting that degree despite getting 50% in their bachelors.
We really need to do and be better as Indians.
1. The faculty is extremly rude and unprofessional. They speak in marathi, even knowing that most crowd does not know the language, and at times even swear in the class when they are angry. yikes!
2. The college was, undoubtely, very good in th elast administration. After the untimely demise of the Principal, the new management took over and it's absolutely patehtic. All godd faculty and left and the ones who are there presently don't even know how to teach from PPTs .
3. The batch size in the college is huge - 450-500 people in a single batch, thanks to the unethical admission practices of the administration.
4. The college has everything in manuality, from semester fees to applying for reval, for which the college charges exorbitatnly high fees. Morever, all the money is routed into a scheduled commercial bank run by the unviserity itself to mask all the illict trasncations. Profeetering at top!
5. Last but not the least, the VC has links with heavyweights in the Government, especially Congress saltwarts in Maharashtra, vide heavy donations to th eparty fund year on year, which allows the college to carry on it's criminal activites smoothly.
Upshot- in order to run such a intricate education mafia, they need students who are not well-informed, dubious and not plain ambitious. They have the money to pay the capitation fees, which goes anywhere from 2-5 lakhs, and pulsate these colleges.
