We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

File official complaint in writing to dean/head of institution with a clear reference to anti ragging laws, with detailed description of the incident along with date, time & location.. better if you have a witness or co-victim.. even better if you have electronic evidence
Send the copy of the same to HRD Ministry & leak it on twitter & never withdraw it irrespective of pressure... educational institutions often suppress & hide these things & they too need to be shamed thoroughly...
This must never be taken in casual sense.. stand up with victim if you witness & offer your testimony at least, if you can't file complaint..
These sadist people must be punished hard
