Hm. This is a tough question. Having experience with both tests, I'd actually say CLAT is tougher, but for all the wrong reasons. What CLAT tests is more or less arbitrary. Mugging up random GK has very little relevance to the skills you need to be a good lawyer. Also, many of the CLAT reading comprehension questions are literally just wrong. Objectively wrong or very subjective questions that turn the exam into a guessing game. The LSAT is a comparatively well made exam that is very challenging, but atleast tests something concrete. CLAT is extremely arbitrary and horribly made most years. I remember when I gave CLAT, atleast 10-15 of the 150 questions were unquestionably wrong. LSAT is difficult but its still better odds than a game of roulette, which is what CLAT is becoming with stupid test makers and extreme competition. So I'd say CLAT is harder.

Just because an exam is arbitrary, doesn’t make it tough in any sense whatsoever. It might make the exam unpredictable but that unpredictability can even stretch for UPSC as well. If you are good, you will do well regardless. This year’s clat paper tested skills which can make even a mermaid secure AIR 1. You need to look at the precedents too. I had a 250ish rank in clat yet I couldn’t clear lsat us in the first attempt. If you are talking about lsat India, then that’s a different thing. Overall LSAT US is much tougher than CLAT.

Bro then please give CLAT and get AIR 1. This is the problem with most people, they think getting AIR 1 is easy, they think getting into NLS is wash, but if it is so easy, why aren’t they in NLS? If they are as intelligent as NLS students why aren’t other NLUs as good as NLS? It’s all right if you are not as intelligent as NLS students, not everyone can be so intelligent of course, but then don’t demand and disparage those who are wiser than you and have worked harder than you.

LSAT is ridiculously easy if you know what you're doing. CLAT is harder just because of the things it doesn't test you on.
