Previously, soon after NKC came in as the VC, he shut down the medals awarded by the SJA. The then SJA prez didn't even bother murmuring a protest. His successors voluntarily emaciated whatever was left of the SJA.
Even the SJA website had those uploaded. For reasons best known to SJA 2019-20 and its successors, they quietly accepted and supported NKC when he discontinued this practice. Now he freely manipulates and sanitizes the minutes (as alleged by the associate professor). I am told that a lot of AC and even FC matters no longer reaches the EC.
As regards the Annual Reports and Accounts....the GC meets once a year and that too just before the convocation. No one is interested to flip through the pages and its is assumed in good faith that the univ admin, including the VC, have done things right. That's how successive admins have buried embezzlement of UGC funds, inquiry reports etc.
Where is the intrepid SJA that uncovered multi-crore scams; triggered eviction of Registrar and VC despite powerful interests inside and outside EC; humbled the mighty AG (KD) and Lord Taluk into releasing EC, FC and AC records etc?
Also why hasn't the SJA ever archived the good fights?
