I don't think you've been to any of the three, my friend.
Even the administration, sure it isn't exactly proactive, nor does it particularly stand out as student-friendly. But it's much better than in other universities (especially NLS) and does an average job at everything, nothing above or below average. The only con a new joinee would face right now would be a declining teacher pool. And the only thing one can do is hope the admin improves its offer for fresh hires, and already made hires are good at their job.
The best parts are: (i) top 10-15% of your batch will be extremely smart & hardworking and you will have great peers and great connections after you graduate (ii) you can get some prestigious opportunities for mooting, ADR, exchange, etc, to different cities and even countries (iii) for corp, it's unparalleled as long as you have decent grades, and placement record is solid even in these times (iv) very good seniors and alumni (v) brand value is still very good (vi) campus life is decent, admin is not strict and moral policing is non existent (vii) infrastructure (including library and web resources) is decent
The bad parts are: (i) the faculty is terrible and grading is weird as a result (ii) campus is so far away from the city and its impossible to regularly go out without spending a ton (iii) five years is a long time to spend in such a place and with kinda toxic people (iv) with sudden influx of IPMs, MBAs etc the campus is looking a bit shabby
All in all, if you are a studious type, NALSAR will be a great place to make your career, even if the living conditions are not so good
