Optimistic:
1. Modi 3.0 undertakes pending reforms --- economy grows --- more jobs
2. Foreign law firms entry --- more jobs
3. Indian Judicial Service created --- more jobs
4. Nationalisation of NLUs --- improved standards of legal education
Pessimistic
1. No reforms, focus on Mandir politics --- economy stunted, limited jobs
2. Clown law minister appointed, no legal reforms --- no jobs
3. NLUs remain state universities --- corruption and mediocracy continues
Which is more likely? One interesting issue is who Modi will appoint as the next law minister. The present law minister, Arjun Ram Meghwal, is really pathetic and his predecessors Kirwn Rijuju and RS Prasad were also rubbish. Hope they don't become. On the other hand, who else is there???
