It’s not just grade inflation. Evaluation patterns at Jgls are wild. For core courses what 50% is the final exam ? And finals you get 10 questions - one from each different module and you only have to answer 5. So presumably you can only learn 50% of the course outline but as long as you do it in an okay fashion - you could top. You could only read 2 or 3 modules for any course and easily pass the final.

The internal assessments - the bad teachers are happy to give out grades for good tlfqs and the good ones are scared they’ll lose their jobs so they’ll give out good tlfqs too.

And if all of that isn’t enough and you still don’t get good grades, you can sandbag it take the course again as a repeat student and have 100% of your grade come to a final and - as we know the finals are incredibly easy to get really good grades in. Read 4 modules and you can get like 80%.

There isn’t a cap on how many repeats you can take and how many times.

This isn’t just regular run of the mill grade inflation- this is corruption. It’s cash for grades and the whole institution is built on this.

The parents who pay the fees are happy because they think they’re kids are learning a lot - in fact they’re being lied to.

I wouldn’t trust a Jgls diploma as far as I could throw it.

This! This is the exact reason why firms don't hire from JGLS. The grade inflation is so much that it's difficult to differentiate between a good and a bad student. People studying 1 day before the exam fail in NLS while in JGLS they get a 7/8. Getting a 6/7 CGPA in NLS will put you in the top 2-3% of the batch.
