NUJS BSc students won't get the same placement opportunities as their BA students. The VC has already made that clear, so has the professor in charge of the placement cell on the very day of orientation. They aren't going to be offered even the same electives.
I was part of the orientation programme myself. I heard Professor Anirban say that clearly. Even the VC has mentioned that the electives for BSc are going to be different. They aren't going to get corp electives at all, only science and criminology stuff. In that case, firms will obv prefer the BA students.
That's the beauty of students with science backgrounds. The BSc students easily ace BA electives, but the other way around will have BA students s**t their pants. If this is true, then it is clear that even the university is scared that the BSc cohort will outshine the flagship BA students.

Students. Nobody with a clat rank above 1000 is applying. The difference in quality between BA and BSc people is distinct. Recruiters are gonna act accordingly.
The difference is if you search online, NUJS ba people are pissed about a sudden batch increase and therefore are spreading rumours whereas NLIU students arent.
Absolutely agree. This platform is full of toxic people whose primary purpose is to defame and discredit anything that doesn't suit their vested interests and narratives.

So I'm not sure which parameter you are talking about, maybe the fees? Yes I think the fees is slightly lower in NLIU, not sure though.
In fact the SJA made it clear this year that nobody from either bsc or ba will be denied any placement because of their batches.
