(1) Try to get your vehicle because metro aside noida does not have a solid public transport system but it has awesome roads
(2) Avoid restraunts pack your own lunch the restarunt culture at noida is insane and you will be broke (and diabetic) in no time
(3) Try to find an apartment near your firm
(4) If you are a women buy a pepper spray and if possible other self protection gadgets. Noida is not as bad as people may make it out to be but it isn't heaven either just stay on your guard when in public (basically Delhi but less populated)
Also be ready for a lot of intracity travel between Ghaziabad, Gurugram. Delhi etc etc
