A hell lot of seniors from IPM got into top B schools like LBS, Bocconi, FMS etc. from NALSAR IPM. Not so long ago, i saw NALSAR IPM being made fun of and judged brutally. Do you have anything to say now? Yes you the jealous lot!!!
The law equivalent of doing IPM from NALSAR will probably be failing to reach an NLU and ending up at an expensive, subpar University like Nirma. You wouldn't be making fun of an IIMB student for not making it to IIMA, would you? (You won't be in a position to, you're pursuing your business degree from a Law University, know your place)
I doubt it is jealousy tbh - it doesn't make sense for NALSAR, MNLU and other NLUs to be doing BBA/MBA stuff when they have so much to improve on in the law domain itself. If they want to branch out, they should rename themselves, their brand pretty much only applies to the legal field. As for FMS admission, anyone with a good personality, grades and scores can cross it. LBS depends on the background of the person.
The main thing about an IPM should be that it gives high paying management jobs, not having to immediately look for an actual MBA. It's more of an endorsement of the hard work of the students that got in, not NALSAR.
Precisely. But clowns on this platform think otherwise. See the downvotes your post received. There is already a UGC directive under NEP 2020 that all universities will need to have at least five disciplines by 2030. There will be no single-discipline universities (like state NLUs). This is one of the reasons why IISc is starting a medical school next year and IITs are focussing on humanities and social sciences. Let alone being multi-disciplinary, state NLUs are struggling to manage law discipline itself.
Lmao. The guy from NALSAR who is actually going to FMS is not IPM but BALLB.
Also, barely anyone from IPM made it to T1 B-Schools. Mods, please do your due diligence before marking anything contested. In fact, the question itself should be marked contested because it's not true.
True, all these IPMs were running around the BALLB guy who crackers FMS like he's their god😂😂😂. Whoever made this post really wants to justify their reason to join IPM. Let me tell you, you botched it.
