Hi, I am from a T2 NLU (Batch of 2024). I was in your place a few months ago. I started sending cold emails in January this year. It did work for me. I landed 2-3 interviews through it in T2/T3 firms. I would suggest first reach out to people you know...they could be your college seniors or people under whom you have interned. These people can internally recommending you and in T2/T3 firms such recommendations work. Secondly, keep track of the vacancies and hiring cycles of the firms. Again, you can extract this info by connecting with people who are already working there. I landed one interview when I got to know about sudden attrition in a firm through my college senior. Thirdly, be open to even assessment internship opportunities if you don't have assessments lined up already. Know that beggars don't get to be choosers. Sit for even assessment internship interviews if you are getting any, it might happen that the interviewer directly recommends you for a job. This is possible only in T3/ boutique firms. Lastly, don't loose hope...you'll surely make it soon. I was crying a night before I got my job letter...I had lost all hopes but the next day I got to know that I made it. All the best!!

Hi, I assume you have only been applying to big firms (whose teams I am almost sure do not have vacancies for 2024 graduates) and to smaller firms that pay well (again, these guys, based on my application experience, have all been saying that they do not have vacancies for freshers or assessment interns). I do not know if this will be helpful, but here are just a list of the names of other law firms and corporates that I have copied and pasted from GLC, Mumbai's website (https://glcplacements.com/recruiters) to whom you may consider applying. Hi everyone,

I have recently graduated and have started to send in applications to some law firms asking for an assessment internship or an interview. Most places have either not replied to such emails, or have offered an internship instead (assessment for an actual opportunity is not guaranteed). While I'm also grateful for internship opportunities, is there any way I can increase my chances of being considered for recruitment? Should I apply for a different position altogether, like a traineeship? (I'm not sure what that practically would entail, so any insight on that would be great as well) Or should I just not be emailing at all and try any other mechanisms?
Any kind of insight would be really appreciated, thank you!
