It is infact a lucky shot. I have good national moot performances, above average batch rank, two publications, tier 2 law school and will be starting with 4th year - 0 tier 1 firm internships. And I've applied to every single one of them, with customized, non-AI generated, proper cover letters. Thank your stars.
It can work, email on the individual HR IDs (Sharine Russel for Luthra, Khushboo and Ananya for Saraf, Ryle Sequeiria and Tanvi Sharma for Tri, Lydia and Parita for Khaitan) except the general HR ID. apply at least 6-7 months in advance. Send follow ups. People have lucked out with Saraf, Luthra, Trilegal, Indus and Khaitan. Never heard of this working for Cam, Sam, and AzB. Applications to Kishori Menon and Dhun Hakim works for S&R as well. JSA online application also works sometimes. The online forms for all firms dont work as such, but always fill the form and mention in the email to the HR that you have filled it. It all comes down to luck at the end of the day. Good luck!

Without any connection or references but with direct application through mailing CV with many follow-ups obviously.

I got into CAM, Trilegal, LKS, Khaitan. All of these without any contacts and via proper applications to the HR.
Now people will start downvoting and saying that I’m lying but that’s not true. You can get through (it’s maybe a lucky shot) but that can happen.
