I (3rd year, going to 4th) have a general corporate internship coming up at SAM in July. How do I prepare for this internship, and what is expected of me to impress the SA's to get a callback? If someone with prior internship/work experience at SAM can help me out, please do.
The same batch, just got offered a callback, a few things that could help you:
1. Make sure you are on time and last to go;
2. Keep taking work which is assessable try to avoid hardcore clerical work, if you do get it finish it off ASAP so you can get quality work again.
3. Make a proper in-depth note of each work you do, not just a single line, this will help your associates in giving you feedback.
4. Always ask for feedback, for every work you do whenever you see that person free, ask for a feedback, and ask doubts when getting work (not ones you can google pls).
5. There are always a few people who will make your life miserable avoid them as much as possible.
6. Avoid taking work from the same person, try to take work from a partner at least once however small or stupid it is.
They'll remember you even if you make their life 1% easier.
