Is there a single party in India that is truly secular? I have no religious beliefs or affiliations and it seems to me there is no one to vote for. BJP opts for Hindu appeasement and Congress for Muslim/other minority religions appeasement. Is there no secular, and solely pro-development party?
India is not a hindu rashtra. YOU may think it is a hindu nation, do not speak for the one billion people in this country. Hinduism marginalises women, tribals, dalits etc etc. All major religions in the world marginalise women and other various groups. India will never develop until we look at the development of this country through a rational lens instead of making decisions for 1 billion people based on a fictional man in the sky. Any religion is poison in politics. Stop making this a brain dead competition and embrace secularism. I cant believe YOU must be a lawyer because you dont even seem to understand the basic tenets of democracy and justice.
The part of my comment that was censored is, either make all countries secular or we are entitled to our own theocratic nation. Cant have a thousand islamic theocracies and the one place with hindu majority should be secular and not care about the majority religion.
hmm do you even understand tribals did constituted a part of Vedic society and infact Vedic society was about tribals and clans? and Hinduism has gone a lot of reforms unlike other religions and will continue to get reformed
Coming on to women I think only a fool will compare a 4000 year old rules to current situation and try to judge with it without seeing a current situation. Hinduism is the most pro women religion when it comes to women goddess and their reverence in society.
Again don't compare foolishly with some texts because every text has gone some transformation or a new text replaced it at some point of time.
I love how you compare religions that are thousand year olds to current situation.
Chanakya in his book clearly stated that a KING should punish a priest (Brahmin) if he denies to teach Outcaste person Vedas or or officiate sacrificial performance undertaken by him. It tells us about the Mauryan Empire and state of outcaste person 25000 years ago.
Caste came in later Vedic period and gradually changed with time in thousands of years. I love how you hate Hindutva while the same ideology calls for elimination of castes and unite hindus .
IF people think that Hinduism is controlled by a book or something then they are foolish. Hinduism grew with societal changes and those societal changes has changed Hinduism gradually.
Coming to secularism I think the problem with you guys is that you all think secularism was always followed by every respective government but that's all BS.
Look at history we were always secular in paper work not in work. Congress favours Muslims for votes so made whole ▮▮▮ community OBC while also Congress government was riding on Hindu wave with ram mandir during rajiv gandhi times and BJP as always is busy removing caste barriers in HINDU society to get votes from all while ignoring muslims in politics. Same with DMK they still ▮▮▮ have dalits who cannot enter temple while they are busy promoting Christianity and taking money from Hindu temple or destroying Hindu temples.
Yes, the BJP appeases Hindus, the opposition appeases Muslims and both appease SC/ST/OBCs. The BJP and opposition do such appeasement to the point of supporting rogue elements within all these communities: crooks, murderers, rapists etc. Just sad.
All significant concepts of the modern theory of the state are secularized theological concepts not only because of their historical development - in which they were transferred from theology to the theory of the state, whereby, for example, the omnipotent god became the omnipotent lawgiver - but also because of their systematic structure, the recognition of which is necessary for a sociological consideration of these concepts. The exception in jurisprudence is analogous to the miracle in theology. Only by being aware of this analogy can we appreciate the manner in which the philosophical ideas of the state developed in the last centuries.”
