I’ve been trying to grow out my hair (2months) and using hairbands for this, but I was asked by my partner to cut it off.

Do any firms allow men to grow out their hair? As long as its done in a neat and professional way?
A law firm is not a rock band. Dress and look appropriately.
Law firms don't give a shit about you, they care about the image you present to the client on the firm's behalf. Long hair simply doesn't fly for men in a corporate setting. You must adapt to that or find a different workplace.
Wow so the discrimination is real and very much institutionalized. Weird since I’ve seen a few exceptions, wonder how they’ve made it fly.
Freedom of expression ke naam pe apni law firm ke dhande ki baarah mat bajaao
Ofcourse all the old and bald partners are jealous
How did you get into a law firm with this type of attitude?

Must be a T3 firm.
True. Otherwise why would a T1 firm allow individuals to work for them instead of resources?
